Inveterate proofreader and part-time pedant; occasional cynic and full-time perfectionist; easily bored but able to spend hours doing nothing; gives second chances but holds grudges; best trait: don’t have one, worst trait: always undersell myself.
Work-wise, I can best describe myself as a generalist, I can make myself useful in most circumstances. I’ve done a wide variety of jobs, from pre-pack work to running a CRM system for an ISP. Most recently gainfully employed as a Content Editor (read: sub-editor and graphic artist) for The H (open source and security news site). Currently looking for something interesting to do.
Leisure comes in the form of all types of arts and crafts — I have yet to meet a creative pursuit that I won’t try at least once. Making greetings cards, colouring, and mixed media take most of my time. Reading, watching films, playing console games, and spending too much time reading other blogs takes up the rest. Other than when I’m playing with my pet rats.
Anything else, you’ll just have to ask.
The contact details you leave here will only ever be used to reply to your message (if a reply is needed). I will not be collecting them for some future nefarious purpose. I promise never to spam you, because that’s just impolite and annoying and I would be mortified.
A pedantic nerd with a love of rats – interesting! Had to check out your site after seeing your gravatar.
Thanks so much for the follow 🙂 I’ve done the same… hope to see more pics of your cuties!
