We went to Sadler’s Wells the other evening to see the preview performance of “The Most Incredible Thing”. It’s not the sort of thing we’d normally go out to but the lure of the Pet Shop Boys’ involvement was too great and Codepope bought tickets as soon as they were available.
I wasn’t sure what to expect — I’ve never been to a ballet (or any dance) before, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The music, choreography, costumes and sets all worked together to create an utterly absorbing performance.
And if there were any preview night hiccups they were so well handled as to be unnoticeable.
