I put the envelope to one side and look instead at the gift tag.
I’m expecting a delivery from my brother, but it’s that time of year so, better check it is from him and not someone else. And there, printed in clear black type along the edge of the gift tag, are the words naming the contents of the parcel. Surprise FAIL. I suspect also, gift tag trimming FAIL. On the plus side, Amazon have said that my brother will get the gift wrapping charge refunded. Assuming that he gets around to contacting them about it. Which given he is worse than I am at responding to emails is not necessarily that likely.
