The question that didn’t get asked.

For the first time in more years than I care to remember I haven’t had to come up with an answer to the question “what do you want for your birthday?”.

As soon as the calendar flips over to March I start waiting for the call from my mum… she did call the other night but rather than asking the question she was actually calling to let me know that she’d managed to pin my brother down long enough to get him to show her my Amazon wishlist and order something for me 🙂

I’m not much of a birthday person, never have been; it’s always nice if people remember and choose to send a card or whatever or even just say happy birthday but I’ll never be the one leaping up and down reminding people when it is and making a huge fuss.

I’m just glad I haven’t had to think about it this year.
